Altar Display

2019 Walk of Remembrance Ofrenda Display

WOW – we’ve had an overwhelming reponse to the Ofrenda display this year!

We are now out of room and are no longer taking altars for this exhibit.

If you registered to create an altar, you will receive an email confirmation. Please see Details and Calendar below.

Community members are invited to create ofrendas (altars) for this special Dia de los Muertos Festival event. Ofrendas honor, remember and celebrate the lives of those who have passed. Anyone may participate. We encourage local teachers and youth group leaders to participate with their K-12 classes, after-school clubs, and youth groups. The first six K-12 youth groups to register are eligible to receive a supply allowance.

Ofrendas may honor any person or group of your choice such as, family, military heroes, celebrities, writers, activists, community leaders (city, government, education, religion), etc.
