2021 Youth Art Exhibition – Mil Milagros

Milagros is the Spanish word for “Miracles”.  Traditionally Milagros are represented by charms that are made out of pewter and silver to decorate altars, shrines, or sacred objects to be used for protection, healing, or blessing. Milagros used as a name also refers to “Our Lady of Miracles” which is another title given to the Virgin Mother. This was the theme of the 2021 Dia de los Muertos Youth Art Exhibition.

Students in grades 6 – 12 were invited to participate. Awards are given in three categories: Grades 6 – 8, Grades 9-10, Grades 11-12. Awards were determined by public vote on our  Facebook album.

Special Thanks to our neighbor Fresco for hosting the Youth Art Exhibition! Fresco is located at 619 N. Chaparral St. – just 2 doors down from K Space Contemporary.  Enjoy one of their famous Aguas Frescas, Fruit Cups or grab a bite to eat while you visit the exhibition!
