WATCH ART DEMONSTRATIONS or MAKE YOUR OWN:
- TAMUCC Printmakers: TAMUCC Printmaking students set up an on-site woodcut print shop where shoppers can select their image and have their own poster or t-shirt printed. This event helps raise money for TAMUCC’s Art Department.
- TAMUCC Student Art Association: Along with selling their own artwork, members of TAMUCC’s Student Art Association parade the Dia de los Muertos Los Gigantes. Be sure to stop by to take a picture with one of the puppets!
- HOLD STEADY IRON CREW: Next to the Ritz, watch the sparks fly, while TAMUCC Art Department’s Hold Steady Crew make tile and skull sculptures from iron. Guests can purchase a “scratch-block” mold to create their own design. The Crew will cast your iron masterpiece for you to pick up later. Proceeds benefit the TAMUCC Art Department. This is a spectacle that lights up the night!
- SUGAR SKULLS: Stop by to create your own sugar skull!
